Puerto Cabopino
Puerto Cabopino, has the reputation for being the most secluded and picturesque port on the Costa and is a popular venue for tourists who want to enjoy a good meal before taking a walk along its sandy beaches. Some of the Coasts most popular restaurants, such as Alberts and Giuseppes Pizzeria, are located here.

El Zoco centre

The frontal section of Calahonda, which is visible from the main CN-340 road, has many restaurants and shops but the best of the shopping, eating and entertainment can be located in the El Zoco centre. Here you can find just about everything that Calahonda has to offer

Mijas Water Park
Mijas Park is one of the main water parks on the coast and is located along the main road heading towards Fuengirola. Open from 10:30 hrs. to 18:00 hrs. and with a discount for people who arrive after 15:00 hrs, as well as free entrance for children under the age of four and other special rates for parties and season tickets.

Facilities include self-service restaurant, changing rooms, safety deposit boxes, gift shop, floats and a picnic area. Just remember if you are planning on spending the day at the aqua park, bring along plenty of lotion. 

Club del Sol
Location of Club del Sol:

Situated in Sitio de Calahonda  between Marbella and Fuengirola, close to Malaga International Airport (20 minutes).There are gymnasiums and walking regions. Most clubs will have a sauna, Jacuzzi and sometimes a steam room too. After a tough work out, one of the nicest things is to relax and enjoy these luxurious facilities. This is also a great opportunity to meet likeminded friends, especially if you are new to the area, or are on holiday and want to know the best places to go close to other facilities.

Tivoli World
Tivoli World is an amusement park located in Arroyo de la Miel, just 2 kms from the Benalmádena Costa. There are various rides as well as a tiny tots section, restaurants, bars and a professional calibre programme of concerts mainly by Spanish performers, as well as some 'look alike' stars. Recent additions to the park include Tivolilandia and Tivoli Agua; the former is an infant area with 11 rides and other attractions specially adapted for very small children and babies

DOLPHIN SAFARI (Gibraltar) Marina Bay Complex. GibraltarTouch a Dolphin or view the underwater world in a special glass bottom boat.

Driving Range Golf Course

There are many golf courses surrounding Calahonda. Miraflores, Cabopino, Mijas Golf, Santa Clara are all within a 10 minute drive.

Cabopino - When it opened in 2001, this was Marbella´s twelth golf course. Located above the Cabopino marina, it is set amongst umbrella pines. Although not unduly long it nevertheless offers a stiff challenge for all golfers. The Course has quickly become established as one of the most sought-after in the Marbella area.

La Siesta - Although a private club, visiting golfers are always welcome at this nine-hole par 3 course. It is certainly a course to sharpen up your short game.

Miraflores - Miraflores golf follows the gentle contours of the Sierra Mijas foothills and affords breathtaking views to the Mediterranean.

Santa Maria - The club has a well-earned place amongst the most elite on the Costa del Sol, offering challenging golf in unparalleled surroundings. It affords views across the course to the Mediterranean, as well as inland to the mountains that lie to the north. While not long, the course is full of interest and considered one of the best along the coast.

Sierra Nevada
The name Sierra Nevada, which means "Snowy Mountain Range", includes some of the highest peaks in Europe not to mention the highest concentration of peaks over 3,000m in the country. The Mulhacen, at 3,482m, is Spain's highest after Mount Teide in Tenerife. The ski terrain is prominantly peaked by the jagged Veleta at 3,398m, Spain's third highest after Aneto, (3,404m), in the Pyranees. The ski resort of Sierra Nevada offers its visitors a wide range of facilities and a ski terrain to suit skiers & boarders of all standards.

The nearest airport is Malaga and is approximately 30 minutes drive from Calahonda. We can recommend car hire if required.
